1. Who Buys Army Mosquito Nets
For 28 years, Nirmal Textiles (Ganga-Gita™) has supplied khaki bed mosquito nets — known across the trade as army machardani — to defence and institutional buyers across India. Our regular buyers include:
- Indian Army & Navy — barracks, field postings, cantonment supply
- CAPF — BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB — bulk unit orders and tenders

Khaki is the standard colour for defence and police use. Every piece is made at our own Delhi factory, so bulk and tender quantities ship direct — no middleman.
2. Army Machardani Sizes — Single, Double & Badi (Large)
Army mosquito nets are made for single, double, and badi (large) beds. The most common defence and police requirement is the single-bed cot size; institutions often mix single and double for officer quarters.

3. Grades & Fabric — What to Look For
Not all army machardani is the same. The two things that decide quality are fabric weight and stitching. Our khaki range runs across 11 grades from economy to heavy-duty:
- Mesh: 100% cotton tape mesh on every grade — breathable, durable, washable.
- Weight: from 250gm (economy) up to 600gm (top-of-line, heaviest construction).
- Stitching: every piece is double-stitched for higher strength at the seams — the first point of failure in cheaper nets.
- Border: premium grades carry an in-built border with long cotton loops for easy, secure tying.
- Care: machine washable and eco-friendly — important for barrack and institutional laundering.

4. How Defence & Police Procurement Works
Bulk army mosquito net orders typically move through one of three routes:
- Direct manufacturer supply — units and institutions order directly against a quotation. As the manufacturer, we supply ex-factory with batch-to-batch quality control.
- Tenders — battalion, CAPF, hospital and railway tenders with defined specifications. We are tender-ready and supply against custom specs and sizes.
- GeM (Government e-Marketplace) — where applicable for government buyers.
